Meet Molly
Howdy! I’m Molly Faught, owner of Udderly Creative. I have been proud to call Lampasas home my entire life….well, except the college years. But to be fair, Lampasas is where I came home to every holiday and break.
I have lots of interests and love to learn new things about any thing or person, but my greatest passions are the world of agriculture, nurturing others through my adventurous cooking with homegrown food, being involved in my community, and marketing, namely print marketing.
I grew up on my family’s cattle ranching operation in this beautiful hill country town, and live on that very land to this day. My favorite activities growing up were showing Brahman heifers and talking until I got detention (it’s true; ask my mom, or just spend 10 minutes with me). I graduated from Lampasas High School in 2001, and then in 2005 from Texas A&M University with a bachelors degree in agricultural journalism and communications. It was at A&M where I first learned the ropes of graphic design, journalism and print marketing. I then went on to earn a masters degree from Tarleton State University in agricultural education in 2011, after an internship with a beloved grassroots organization of mine, Independent Cattlemen’s Association.
Since earning my masters degree, I have been both general manager of Lampasas Radio and Radiogram and executive director of the Lampasas County Chamber of Commerce. And since living back in Lampasas since 2006, I’ve been a member and supporter of many local non-profit organizations and events.
From keeping up with marketing trends in both the print and digital worlds through graphic design, networking communications and work, I decided it was time to open my own business…and Udderly Creative was born in July of 2019. Back then, I had every intention of sticking to the branding, social media management and website development aspects of digital marketing. And one by one, customers and potential customers would ask if I could also design a business card or a flyer….and then my first printer came at the end of 2019…and now that printer is an in-house copier, because I’ve been so fortunate to be trusted by so many in my community and beyond that I’ve upgraded to some of my “dream machines.” And I’ve added some truly amazing women to the Udderly Creative team too.
It was toward the end of the year in 2023 that I really fully dropped logo branding, social media management and websites from my menu and went full-on print. I have a few add-ons where you can have some digital images with your prints too, but my love of print that started so long ago is where I am home in my business. Listening to my customers’ wants and needs drives me to do one of my favorite things – think outside of the box – and create custom marketing or sentimental pieces that they can build a business or a life on.
I plan to keep growing my knowledge, adding new employees, training new and retained employees to keep their minds fresh and invigorated, offering competitive pricing that suits the Lampasas County-area’s budget, and hopefully keep adding those dream machines one by one. Udderly Creative’s product list is so vast and grows with each idea and each day, and for that I am so grateful. My niches here certainly make work feel like home.
And at home, I am a mother to a gorgeous-on-the-inside-and-out daughter who is a senior at Lometa High School (and future Red Raider). I’m also a step-mother to a very fearless and fiery young-adult woman, a driven and hard-working young man, and his benevolent and warm fiancée….and I am so lucky to share this world with their children – two spunky boys that call me MooMoo. My husband Cody and I are newly wed, and he brings a new light to my life that I’ve never experienced; we travel as much as we can, adventuring as far or as near as time allows. One day we hope to win the lottery and travel the world….but we have to start playing first!
I think it’s safe to mention here that I’m also a dog mom to my loving and loyal black labrador Annabelle, lazy and sweet-hearted beagle/border collie potato we call Martha, the longest and goodest spoiled boy Mr. Weenie, and the most spirited coyote of a blue heeler, Dogg.
With so many new businesses opening in my home county and so many people moving this way, I love being a friendly stop in making new connections in a new business’s or family’s hometown. There is a fit for anyone from anywhere, new or “old,” here in Lampasas…and there’s nothing like an outsider who loves it here to re-invigorate my love for my hometown. And if you’re looking for the marketing aspects that we don’t offer, or any service in general, I’ve got a local list for you too! One of my favorite things in this business is sharing customers with like-minded professionals, so we can best help you achieve your dreams.
So if you’re in the market for printing of any kind, or just a friendly introduction or consultation, stop by and ask for me, or shoot me an email. I am more than humbled to be the owner of Lampasas’s Hometown Print Shop.
Let’s make your print dreams come true!
